TOUCHING NATURE wholeness through connecting with nature
Touching Nature blends various practices related to mindful awareness, bodywork and general well-being with the beautiful Finnish nature as a setting. Together these form a coherent and effective whole that supports your holistic well-being and health.
We gather techniques and inspiration from various yoga techniques, mindfulness, and the method of Forest Immersion, among others. Our services also include Forest Immersion as its own independent package. The practices are carefully selected to work in synergy with the surrounding nature and its rejuvenating presence and multitude of health benefits.
Touching Nature aims to help in releasing stress, strengthening the immune system and in finding more meaningfulness and depth of presence in one’s life. It offers an opportunity to enjoy the relaxed peacefulness, to develop sensitivity and awareness, as well as to open to one’s innate creativity and sense of happiness.
Harmonious and empathic connection towards oneself, other people, and the surrounding environment begin to happen effortlessly.
Touching Nature is suitable for everyone at any age, and in a fair physical and mental health. It has already contributed to the lives of various individuals and groups from NGO’s to other organizations.
Touching Nature can have tremendous benefits especially to those interested in establishing and strengthening their connection with themselves and with nature, to those aiming to find more mindful awareness to their daily lives and who wish to take care of their holistic well-being in a very practical and functional manner.
Our services can be tailored to meet the needs of individuals and groups of various kinds. We are happy to provide everything from a short, 30 minutes Touching Nature -moment to your event or teambuilding session, to a longer package of several hours to a day. Events are led by Risto Heikkinen
Touching Nature is guided by Risto Heikkinen. He is a yoga instructor (KRI) and a Forest Immersion guide. Risto has several years of experience in leading practices, workshops, and classes contributing to well-being, such as meditative yoga with a therapeutic focus. He has been guiding individuals and groups in Finland and abroad.
